Matthias Krause

 

Matthias Krause is responsible for film funding, financing and production controlling at Lucky Bird Pictures. Since 1998 he has gained experiences at film sets as production manager (e.g. Marlene, Auf Herz und Nieren, Sass und Die Manns – Ein Jahrhundertroman).
 
He studied Applied Media Economics. His thesis is named Analyse des MEDIA-Förderprogramms. In 2002 he worked as an assistant to the producer Martin Zimmermann at Das Wunder von Lengede. As asssistant to the producer Bettina Brokemper Krause was a member of the foundation of Heimatfilm GmbH + Co KG.
 
He was responsible for the film financing at the productions The Syrian Bride, Dear Wendy, Manderlay, Falscher Bekenner, Antichrist and Melancholia. At Island of Lost Souls by Nikolaj Arcel, The most fun you can have dying by Kristin Marcon and Sonnwende by Judith Angerbauer and Bernhard Landen he worked as producer or co-producer.
 
Krause is a certified producer by IHK, was a member of the european professional training EAVE and Rotterdam Labs. He is guest lecturer at Medienakademie Hamburg. Since 2014 he uses all his experiences in national and international funding for Lucky Bird Pictures.
