Dr. Christoph Falkenroth

 

Dr. Christoph Falkenroth studied musicology, philosophy, and medieval studies at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg i. Br. After his graduation he worked as scientific author, freelance journalist, and multimedia author before he completed a training as scriptwriter.

 

Since 1996 he wrote and adapted screenplays in different genres and developed several fictional TV formats for different production companies and broadcasters.

 

From September 2008 until June 2013 he worked as research assistant and project coordinator at the research project “STEM and equal opportunities in TV drama formats (MINTiFF) at the Technical University Berlin. The MINTiFF-project led to the formation of the “Foundation for STEM-Entertainment-Education-Excellence”, where he is member of the board since its beginning.

 

Furthermore, Christoph Falkenroth is member of the “German Writer’s Guild” (VDD) where he was member of the board for six years, and member of the “German Academy for TV”.
